Judea, Samaria and Gaza know by their Hebrew Acronym-YESHA

|YESHA COMMUNITIES BULLETIN BOARD|

A 2,000-year-old dream began to be fulfilled in 1948 as the state of Israel became a reality.  It took root following the Six Day War when thousands of Israelis, renewing the Zionist tradition, began to settle the very heartland of historic Israel. Judea,(YEJUDA) Samaria(SHOMRON) and Gaza (AZAH) (Known by their Hebrew Acronym -YESHA) and the|Golan Heights|came under Israeli control to in a defensive strike at the surrounding Arab armies who threatened to annihilate the tiny country whose borders were fundamentally indefensible.  The Jewish people returned to the Temple Mount-Jerusalem's holiest site, Rachel's tomb in Bethlehem, the cave of the patriarchs in Hebron and countless reminders of the ancient heritage which went forth from these lands to influence an entire world.

Shortly after the war, Kfar Etzion, a Kibbutz destroyed by the Arabs in 1948, was reestablished and Jews began to return to Hebron from which they had been cast out  following "The massacre of 1929". These early communities were like healthy saplings planted in their native soil. Today, they have branched out to encompass 144 communities that include villages, towns, kibbutzim, moshavim flourishing cities that continued to thrive and grow despite great adversity. YESHA is the home to over 150,000 Israelis including over 90,000 children. YESHA is comprised of 144 communities.  There are seven regional councils, 13 municipalities, and a city with more than  150,000 strong and growing {PLEASE GOD}

"Reoccupied" YESHA consists of  INDUSTRY, with more than 250 factories, 70 high-tech industries and 3 centers for research and development.  16 EDUCATIONAL institutions of higher learning, and AGRICULTURAL production in dairy, fruit, flowers and much more…
