I remind you to worship Allah not only through the month of Ramadan but also through the whole year. We call upon all of you to remember that this deen came to manage the affairs of all humans in all aspects of life and in order to make muslims the best Ummah ever evolved to mankind "Ye are the best of Peoples, evolved for mankind, enjoining what is right, forbidding what is wrong, and believing in Allah. If only the People of the Book had Faith, it were best for them: among them are some who have Faith, but most of them are perverted transgressors" Al-Imran (3:110).

Islam was never a religion confined within the boundaries of the Mosque. Islam is the complete system that Allah revealed to his slave prophet Muhammad. Allah says in his noble Quran "And this (He commands): judge thou between them by what Allah hath revealed, and follow not their vain desires, but beware of them lest they beguile thee from any of that (teaching) which Allah hath sent down to thee. And if they turn away, be assured that for some of their crimes it is Allah's purpose to punish them. And truly most men are rebellious". Al'Maida (5:49)

In front of Allah, I disassociate my self from every traitorous ruler or military ruler in the Muslim world. Look how the Muslim scholar has refused to put full responsibility on the military leaders for the need for change in the situation of the Muslim Ummah. The innocent people who are killed every day need a force to stop the injustice. They do not need negotiators but fighters. But the Muslim scholar insists that the military people are employees and hence they do not assume any responsibility for the required change. But I ask that Muslim scholar: For Allah's sake how will the Islamic Khilafah state be re-established?

How are we supposed to fight all the imperialist disbelievers? How are we to liberate al-Aqsa Mosque and all of Palestine? How are we to feed the hungry and cure the injured? Do you know what the Arab summit, which was held recently to support the Intifada, did to support the Intifada?

Do you know what the same Muslim scholar said about the recent attack on the US naval warship in Yemen?

He said in one of the interviews on an Arabic satellite channel that he prefers to confine our resistance to inside Palestine and only against Israel!!

I am asking this scholar: Are you afraid of telling the truth? Are you afraid that these Arab satellite channels may refuse to host your program if you said the truth? Or are you afraid that the rulers might stop your salary?

Al'Jazeera Satellite channel had mentioned in one of her news reports that the number of workers for the Islamic Khilafah in Central Asia is around 15 million. Al'Waie Magazine had also mentioned in Sha'ban 1421 issue that the total number of Muslim prisoners who are members or supporters to Hizb'ut'tahrir in Uzbekistan are more than 40 thousand. Dear brothers, These people die under torture, their nails are being removed, their skins are being stripped off, and their bones are being broken. They sold their lives for the sake of this deen, so that the word of Allah will be revealed, so that the Islamic Khilafah state is established. Today, we hear the calls to establish the Islamic state louder than ever The Muslims are seeing the image clearer than ever and they are more persistent than ever.

In the Noble Quran Allah told us about the Jews "They will not fight you (even) together, except in fortified townships, or from behind walls. Allah will send his victory to the ones who work for his sake and strive to apply his laws on earth through the establishment of the Islamic state.

Whenever I hear the news about this Intifada or the news about the demonstrations in the Muslim world I start hoping every times that a movement will erupt in one of the Muslim armies. I start feeling the live spirit of this Muslim Ummah. but then I remember the last obstacle "which is the worst" that prevents this Ummah from dashing, I mean her rulers.

The rulers of the Muslim Ummah are working today as servants to the imperialist disbelievers. They are the last obstacles that prevent her from starting her return to her normal position. They are the real protectors of the Jewish imperialist pocket. The rulers were hired by the imperialist disbelievers to prevent this Ummah from her return to Islam.

Look how once the Ummah started to move and started to call for Jihad then we had seen the rulers contacting their masters to arrange for the proper response against the Ummah so they called for these traitorous summits that we had seen , like the summits in sharm alsheikh and in Cairo in order to collaborate against this Ummah and against the blessed Intifada.

The ruler of Egypt, this low agent to the U.S., considers Jihad as unrealistic option, "It's a matter of stupid ness " he says. The ruler of Iraq calls for Jihad but his hands are still wet from the blood of Muslims whom he had slaughtered. Or the ruler of Jordan whose state has the longest borders with the Jewish State, but he had stated clearly that canceling agreements with Israel is a matter of defeat. Or the Yemeni ruler who used to call for a "defensive Jihad" against Israel but once he had the explosion of the U.S. warship in his regional water then he started acting like a slave in front of his masters. Etc..etc..

Oh Muslims,

You should know that the imperialist disbelievers had destroyed your state, they overthrew your khalifah , they tore down your unity and they stepped down on your glory.

Allah says in the noble Quran "O ye who believe! Fear Allah and be with those who are true (in word and deed)." Al-Tawba (9:119). This is an order from Allah that directs Muslims to fear Allah and to be with those who are true (in word and deed) and not with those who are liars.

First they (the current rulers) said to the Muslim Ummah that they will liberate Palestine from the sea to the river. They claimed that they are guarding the eastern gate, and then they claimed that they are protecting the western gate.

They claimed that the U.S. is the imperialist enemy. They said to the Muslim Ummah that they want the international legitimacy to liberate Gaza and Jericho but they had gave up most of Palestine through the same excuse.

They claimed that they are sons of Prophet Muhammad whereas prophet Muhammad had attacked such people. Then they claimed that they are sons of our great Muslim heroes like Omar ibnu'lkhattab or Amro'bnu'la'as but these great heroes are free from their actions. O ye who believe! We had recently hear that these corrupt traitorous Arab rulers are openly promoting the idea of dividing al-Aqsa Mosque between the Jews and the Muslims. They keep calling to resume "peace" negotiations with the Jewish ruler Ehud Barak even after they hear his calls for spreading the Jewish authority and rule over al-Aqsa Mosque. These rulers had reached a high level of impudence and lowness when they declare that if the Jews refuse the negotiations over Jerusalem then they will call to let the city open for all religions, (i.e. internationalize the city) which means that instead of fighting the Jews the Muslims will need to fight the U.S., Britain, France … etc in order to liberate the city.

There is a great conspiracy coming up , a conspiracy that the Friday speaker will not dare to speak up about .We smell a massacre that will be executed inside al-Aqsa Mosque by a Jewish extremist "Who will then be claimed to be a lunatic " and then the Jews will occupy the whole al-Aqsa Mosque. They will do it in the same manner that they did before in al-Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron when they kicked out all the Muslims from the Mosque.

Then our rulers will come and they will start "negotiations" with the Jews over al-Aqsa Mosque , and they will make us feel happy to hear that the Jews had allowed Muslims to pray in part of al-Aqsa Mosque.

The current spate of work is being carried out without the Antiquities Authority's supervision, as is required by law. Heavy trucks have also been seen in the area, despite promises by Public Security Minister Shlomo Ben-Ami that such vehicles would not be allowed into the area.

A small concrete-block building with a cast-iron roof has also been built near the eastern face of the Temple Mount. Sources suspect it is being used for storage.

Preparatory work on the subterranean area has almost been completed, as has the preparatory work for the large entrance that necessitated the Waqf digging up the Temple Mount at the northern wall of Solomon's Stables.

Minister for Jerusalem Affairs Haim Ramon met over the weekend with Antiquities Department head Amir Drori, Jerusalem Police Commander Yair Yitzhaki and representatives of the Attorney General's Office and the police's legal adviser to discuss the work. The possibility of adopting a protocol for dealing with the Waqf, one that is not coordinated with the Antiquities Authority, was discussed, as was the drawing of "red lines" that Israel will not allow the Waqf to cross. The Waqf currently wishes to commence other construction work on the holy site, and this issue was also raised at the meeting.

Ramon will meet today with representatives from a new nonpolitical public organization that seeks to put an end to the destruction of antiques buried in the Temple Mount. Its supporters published an open letter to the prime minister on Thursday, stating that at the site, "a serious act of irreparable archaeological vandalism and destruction is being carried out without archaeological supervision, while abrogating the Antiquities Law and while the Antiquities Authority remains inactive ... thousands of tons of dirt which contain a large amount of findings dating back to the First Temple period have been dumped at municipal dumps and other sites. This archaeological crime in insufferable."

The letter was signed by people from all over the political spectrum, including Jerusalem Mayor Ehud Olment, former mayor Teddy Kollek, various authors such as Haim Guri, S. Yizhar and Amos Oz, professors and winners of the Israel Prize for Archaeology and 82 Knesset members from nearly all Knesset factions, including the Likud, One Israel, Shas, Shinui and Meretz.

Archaeologist Ilit Mazar says that 6,000 tons of dirt and stones have been dug out of the holy site. "Every item being destroyed there could be incredibly important, and only professional archaeologists can decide what to destroy and what not," she says.

"You have no right to work here. This is our territory," snaps Najib Barekat Abu Malik, a bearded waqf official in a neat but mismatched suit.

But Yuval Baruch, of the Israeli Antiquities Authority, is unmoved. "Don't stop!" he calls out to two of his workers who, because of the row, had taken a break from picking through the debris for artifacts. Baruch may be powerless to keep the waqf from obliterating layers of history on the Temple Mount, but he defends his mission to salvage whatever he can.

One of Abu Malik's compatriots, Ali Ar, has rented the waqf the plot on which this man-made hill is growing. The Antiquities Authority, Ali Ar claims in Hebrew, is motivated by "right-wing" zealotry. It's activities are designed to find proof of an ancient Jewish presence in the Land of Israel. But that's all "just talk," he says dismissively. "The Jews have no foundation in this land. They have excavated all over and have never found a thing. They think they once had a temple where we have our mosques. Fairytales."

In that case, why does he care if the Israelis are poking around in the rubble? "I'm afraid they'll find some weird stone and Jews will start to pray here," he says.

Though some hewn stone blocks have been rescued from the fill, Jon Seligman, the Jerusalem region Antiquities Authority archaeologist, remarks regretfully that archaeology primarily values context - something that finds from this spot now lack. "It's as though everything's been put in a blender and mixed up," he says. "You can find pottery from the Second Temple period here, but so what? You can find pottery from the Second Temple period in every archaeological fill in Jerusalem."

What was critical about these finds, he notes, is where they came from. "The real crime is being committed, right now, on the Temple Mount. This is the sideshow."

"In this dump is 3,000 years of destroyed history, historical evidence from one of the world's holiest places from the time of King Solomon, the Greeks and Byzantines," Mazar, a Hebrew University professor, said at the Kidron Valley site.

Around 20 academics and students gathered last Thursday to protest at dumping by the Waqf Moslem religious trust of material from building at the city's most sensitive religious site, known to Jews as the Temple Mount and Moslems as al-Haram al-Sharif (The Noble Sanctuary).

Archaeologists charge the Waqf with secretly dumping the material after reopening in November an entrance to a chamber under the esplanade which houses the Dome of the Rock and al-Aqsa mosque, Islam's third holiest shrine. The complex was the site of Judaism's biblical temples more than 1,900 years ago.

"Look at this," said Mazar, fingering a small white disc that someone had just handed her from the rain-sodden earth. "An ancient mother of pearl bead. And look at this, an eighth century handle of a storage jar. Incredible."

MOSLEM CONSTRUCTION ANGERS ARCHAEOLOGISTS
Archaeology student Tzachi Zweig says that among other finds unearthed from the mud pile, volunteers have discovered a leg from a Bronze Age figurine and a pottery shard with striped decoration dating from the eighth century BC.

He alerted archaeologists to the dump after learning of a midnight sortie by 100 trucks from the Temple Mount a few weeks ago to dispose of the material, and says the Waqf is surreptitiously destroying evidence of Jewish life at the site.

"Someone involved with the digging told me they scanned and filtered the material and that they destroyed any evidence of Jewish presence there including Hebrew text and a five pointed star that is the symbol of the kingdom of Judah," Zweig said.

No one from the Waqf was immediately available for comment but its officials have previously denied causing damage and remained defiant.

"We will not permit Israeli archaeologists to intervene in our affairs," the Mufti of Jerusalem, Ikrima Sabri, appointed by the Palestine Liberation Organisation, said last month.

Israeli government officials, agreeing that Israel originally sanctioned the work, said they had been surprised by the extent of the building and had asked for further construction to be monitored by archaeologists.

Israeli antiquities experts have accused Israel's Antiquities Authority of failing to take seriously the temple trash, now mixed up with modern garbage, and have demanded that Israel put pressure on the Waqf to stop digging.

"We know this is a very sensitive area, but politics has nothing to do with it. The Israeli government has to impose control on the Waqf. We have to protest against this vandalism," said archaeology professor Ami Mazar.

TEMPLE MOUNT TINDERBOX
Tensions are the last thing Israel wants at the Temple Mount, a source of sharp religious discord and a spark for potential violence when either side suspects the other of tampering with the fragile status quo.

Bloodshed erupted three years ago when Israel's then-prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered an entrance punched into a tourist tunnel near the compound.

Sixty-one Palestinians and 15 Israeli soldiers were killed in ensuing gun battles in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.

Last month, Israel's Attorney General Elyakim Rubinstein added his voice to the growing ruckus when he accused the Waqf of destroying Jewish heritage.

"Remnants of the history of the Jewish people are being trampled," Israel's Ha'aretz newspaper quoted him as saying. Jerusalem's Israeli mayor, Ehud Olmert, has also challenged the construction work.

Waqf head Adnan Husseini said last month that Israel had no right to demand a halt to the work.

"We never asked for permission from the occupation," he said.

Israel captured Arab East Jerusalem including the Old City with its major holy sites in the 1967 Middle East war, but gave control of the Temple Mount to the Waqf. Israel claims Jerusalem as its "united eternal capital".

Palestinians reject the claim and want East Jerusalem for the capital of a future Palestinian state.

ANTIQUITIES AUTHORITY DISPUTES VALUE OF DUMP FINDS
Not everyone agrees that the dump is worth serious analysis. The damage is done once the material is moved, some say.

"Material is only of value if it's at the site proper," said Gideon Avni of the Antiquities Authority, brushing aside claims that it had been slow to act.

Despite forwarding information about the digging and requesting that the authority be allowed to supervise the work, he said it had been denied access to the site.

Archaeologists said the damaging work continues unabated.

Piles of churned earth and stones lay strewn in the corner of the Temple Mount plaza where the entrance to the new chamber stands obscured by olive trees and cordoned off from prying eyes by wary security officials who keep onlookers at a distance.

A bulldozer stood idle nearby.

"The most important evidence of the history of Jerusalem, for all religions, is being destroyed every day. If we are barbaric, history means nothing to us. But we are supposed to be cultured, said Eilat Mazar. "That is why this has to end."

The protest was organized by the Zo Artzeinu organization, which called for motorists from around the country to drive to the Kidron Valley area, from where the participants walked while carrying torches.

Officials affiliated with the Israel Antiquities Authority (IAA) have testified that the ongoing construction continued to cause irreparable damage to religious artifacts dating back to the Temple era. Nevertheless, the government has opted to turn a blind eye in the hope of avoiding a conflict with the Moslem community.

Petitions filed with the High Court of Justice, calling for an immediate cessation of construction, have also been rejected with the court stating the issues at hand were not ‘legal' but rather ‘political' and therefore must be dealt with by the government. The court ruled that in light of the delicate situation regarding the Mount, the holiest location to the Jewish People and the site of the First and Second Temples, it was unable to rule. The justices indicated that a stop-work order may lead to violent Moslem rioting and therefore, the decision as to the construction must be left to the government.

As a result of the ongoing construction, the Wakf Authority has dumped hundreds of truckloads of dirt containing artifacts in the Kidron Valley.

High Court rejects petition to halt Wakf's work on Temple

(January 12) - The High Court of Justice yesterday rejected a petition by the Temple Mount Faithful to halt all work by the Wakf on the construction of an illegal monumental entrance to the Marwani Mosque on the Temple Mount.

A panel of three justices - Yitzhak Zamir, Mishael Cheshin and Dorit Beinisch - ruled that policy regarding the mount should be left in the hands of the government and the court should not interfere.

In his decision, Zamir wrote that there have been several
petitions against construction by the Wakf on the Temple Mount. In each case, the court decided not to intervene.

There was no question the Wakf's actions violated the country's planning and antiquities laws, but other factors also had to be taken into consideration, he said.

Sabri: There is not [even] the smallest indication of the existence of a Jewish temple on this place in the past. In the whole city, there is not even a single stone indicating Jewish History. Our right, on the other hand,is very clear. This place belongs to us for 1500 years. Even when it was conquered by the Crusaders, it remained Al-Aqsa, and we got it back soon afterwards. The Jews do not even know exactly where their temple stood. Therefore, we do not accept that they have any rights, underneath the surface or above it.

Die Welt: It is agreed among archeologists that the Wailing-Wall is part of the foundation of Herod's temple. The Bible and other antique sources report about this place in detail. Why can't you respect the Jewish connection tothis place?

Sabri: It is the art of the Jews to deceive the world. But they can't do it to us. There is not a single stone in the Wailing-Wall relating to Jewish History. The Jews cannot legitimately claim this wall, neither religiously nor historically. The Committee of the League of Nations recommended in 1930, to allow the Jews to pray there, in order to keep them quiet. But by no means did it acknowledge that the wall belongs to them.

Die Welt: Why don't you allow Israeli scientists to dig there to look for possible remnants and proofs for or against the existence of the Jewish temple?

Sabri: We categorically reject all excavations under the Al-Aqsa mosque, because they would endanger the historical buildings on the site. Besides, they have already dug everywhere. All they could find were remnants of buildings from the Omayyad-period. Everything they excavated was related to Arabs and Muslims.

Die Welt: King Hussein once proposed "Divine Sovereignty" over Temple Mount, in order to reduce the tensions between peoples and religions there. Sabri: We accept God's sovereignty. That is why this mosque is calledAl-Aqsa. Allah himself gave it this name. Allah wants the place to belong to the Muslims and to no one else. This is acceptable to us.

Die Welt: Would you agree, if necessary, to the internationalization of the city, in order to manage these unsolvable problems?

Sabri: An internationalized Jerusalem would be worse for us than a Zionist Jerusalem. In such a case, the entire world, and not only one state, would be against us. This would be a regression to colonial times.

Die Welt: On March 23, the Pope said in Jerusalem: "Religion must never be an excuse for the use of force especially when religious identity overlaps with cultural and national identity." How would you answer him?

Sabri: Any religious man would agree with that. We also believe that religion is not the reason for the hatred between peoples. Only thosewithout religion ignore that. But who are they? Who occupies and destroys other peoples and their property?

Die Welt: The Intifada is also violent. Wasn't the peaceful resistance with which Gandhi ended British colonialism in India, more successful?

Sabri: We have fought for peace without using violence since 1967. But no one listened to us. We won resolutions in the UN, but no one lifted a finger for us.

Die Welt: In your July 2000 Fatwa you declared: "We insist on the Right of Return for all the 1948 refugees and prohibit them from getting compensations for [the loss] of the Holy Land, for it has no price. What are the borders of this Holy Land that you refer to?

Sabri: From an Islamic point of view, it stretches from the Mediterranean to the Jordan [River]. It is Palestine in its entirety.

Die Welt: And there is no place for the Israelis?

Sabri: For the Jews who lived here before, there will be a place, of course. But all those Jews who came here from all over the world, must return to the places from where they came. The Jews from Germany should return to Germany.(laughs) After all, you like them so much, don't you?

Die Welt: Does this mean, that there is no place here for a Jewish state?

Published by the Supreme Moslem Council, the nine-page English-language tourist guide, entitled A Brief Guide to al-Haram al-Sharif, a copy of which was obtained by The Jerusalem Post, states: "The site is one of the oldest in the world. Its sanctity dates from the earliest times. Its identity with the site of Solomon's Temple is beyond dispute. This, too, is the spot, according to universal belief, on which David built there an altar unto the Lord, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings." A footnote refers the reader to 2 Samuel 26:25.

The Supreme Moslem Council "was the supreme Moslem body appointed by the British Government during the Mandate period to administer the Moslem affairs in Palestine which included Wakf affairs," said Dr. Eli Reches, an Arab affairs expert at Tel Aviv University.

The booklet focuses on the Moslem connection to the site, with the authors stating clearly: "... for the purposes of this Guide, which confines itself to the Moslem period, the starting point is the year 637 A.D."

But Judaism's unequivocal connection to the Temple Mount comes up again on the last page of the booklet, which discusses the "substructures" of the Dome of the Rock.

Describing the area of Solomon's Stables, which Islamic Wakf officials converted into a new mosque in 1996, the guide states: "...little is known for certain about the early history of the chamber itself. It dates probably as far back as the construction of Solomon's Temple... According to Josephus, it was in existence and was used as a place of refuge by the Jews at the time of the conquest of Jerusalem by Titus in the year 70 A.D."

The guide mentions in passing Christianity's connection to Solomon's Stables. "We also know that this space was used by the Knights Templar as stables and the holes to which they tethered their horses can still be seen in the masonry of the piers... The contrast between lower and upper courses of the larger piers would tend to show that they belong to two distinct periods, and that the upper parts and the vaults of Arab construction [are] superimposed upon ancient foundations."

The guide also refers to Christianity's link to a small chamber in the vast subterranean structure, "which was believed in medieval times to have been associated with Jesus Christ's infancy, a belief that was prevalent long before the advent of the Crusaders, and was subsequently accepted by them."

Published by the Moslem Orphanage Press as a visitor's guide to the site and priced at 200 mils, the booklet contains seven full-page photographs of the Dome of the Rock which the guide says were reproduced courtesy of the American Colony.
